system info does not give build number

i am trying to down load the need files for update to 3.4 however my sync info only states sync 3, software version: build.
what wiul i use in the cconfiguration to run the update?

Perform a master reset to see if that shows anything, otherwise create and run an interrogator log against the unit, share the XML produced.

Well the present current version that you probably should be aiming for is sync 3.4.23188 and maps NA 2.24.
Your present version is apparently version 3.0 so based on your current map version NA1.17 (2017) use one of the earlier 3.0 versions listed on the Syn3Updater as your current version for the download unless you know what year it was last updated.

Perhaps 2018, so look for the numbers 18 or 19 included as the first numerals in the version list on the updater.

Truck is a 2019 so i would think it would be at least something in 2019, but who knows. Hard to belive that the maps are 17

The maps are usually a year behind so they could have been uploaded in 2019 along with a 2018 or 2019 sync version.

Who ever owned the truck had a few years of free map updates but never did them.

It is odd that the maps are so old on a 2019, yes. However, a simple reformat and upgrade will solve the issue.

master reset got me the info. it is 3.3.18351.
hopefully this will work and get my wife off my back about her update.
