You won’t know for sure until you upgrade. But I agree, 3.0 should work fine (I’m still running 3.0 without issues).
So maybe your installation has gone bad (may be fixed by upgrading) or your APIM is going out…
Either way, if you want to improve it, master reset and ensure to use a proper cable for the phone connection. If that does not help, you can try upgrading it (which will reformat it)… And if after a final master reset after upgrading does nothing, then you know you need to replace the APIM.
Goodmorning. I did do a master reset 2 times now since it had the 3.0 update. This morning after being in a few days has now said its not compatible and to change it out. The cable to my phone i know for certain is good, but still tried another to make sure and same not staying connected. I will try the upgrade in hopes it helps. Thank you again for the help and advice.
I did the update yesterday, ever since it has been like having a brand new radio. The lag is gone. When i hit a button it reacts fast. Android auto kicks in as soon as i plug my phone up also. Phone stays connected. Thank you all very much for all the help.
