First, thank you in advance for looking and helping.
So I’d tried to update my Ford Sync 3.0.20204 to latest. When i plugged in the USB, it started the updated and stated that it would reboot and to remove the USB. I let it reboot and left the USB in place. I waited for over 10 minutes and saw no led blinking from my USB and nothing on the screen. So i turned off my truck and removed the USB thinking it was hung. Now i get nothing to display on my screen and backup camera doesn’t even work. Please help.
You could try a soft reset by holding the sync power button and seek>> together for 10 seconds or so and if it reboots do a master reset (settings…general…factory/master reset).
If this does not work there are many here with more knowledge than me who can no doubt help you.
Hi wiz043, I’d tried the soft reset but nothing happen. Will try to pull the fuse tomorrow morning to see if a hard reset will fix the issue. If anyone else have any other suggestions, please chime in.
1st thank you for helping. I purchased this truck used in Dec of 2023. I don’t have any info if the unit has ever been serviced so I don’t really know. When I get a chance, I’ll remove the radio and will get to the module to take a picture and will post it up here for yall.
Here is a picture of the available files from Forscan which Id downloaded and programed to my unit. I’d had forscan download the file and did a program.
