Car is a 2019 Ford Ka 1.5 TiVCT (Brazilian car), it comes with sync 3, 8gb non nav unit but i’m using an APIM from a 2017 EcoSport, which is a 32gb nav unit (this unit was given to me bricked and i fixed it with help from here)
The map works fine when i start driving but after a few minutes, it just wanders in a random direction and takes a whole lot of time to fix it self only to start wandering again a couple minutes later, essentialy making the navigation pretty much useless whenever you really need it.
This car has a gps antenna from the factory, code GCPT-19C175-AA and around here i can’t really find much info on whats fitted on the EcoSport with sync 3, but i believe it should be pretty similar. I bought one of those cheap aftermarket gps antennas to test it before i buy a new oem antenna.

Anything suggestions before i fit a new antenna? Could this be happening due to me using wrong calibration files?

Find a similar vehicle to yours and download the factory asbuilt for that vehicle with Sync 3. The issue is most likely the data here:

This is likely the wrong parameters for your vehicle which will cause this issue.
Those are the parameters from factory, copied them from the original 8gb non nav apim… I tried using the parameters for the 2017 EcoSport but it obviously got worse since it has bigger wheels and stuff.
Change this to 7D0-02-01 4252 0106 80xx

Loaded my cars oem asbuilt, only change i did is enabling the navigation since it comes disabled and did a master reset..
Unfortunately, same behaviour with oem asbuilt… However, i turned off my navigation so i can see compass in the main screen and noticed it seems to be frozen in the north direction, im thinking maybe theres something faulty within the apim itself?
It’s really weird because when i start driving, it changes directions perfectly fine, only being a tiny bit off… until it goes complety off haha
On a 2015 which came with Sync 2, There is a GPSM module. This is separate than the GPS antenna you added when you swapped in Sync 3. Did you disconnect that or is it still connected?
My car comes with sync 3 from the factory so i believe it does not come with a gpsm module. Correct me if im wrong!
Also i did not add the gps antenna, it already came in the car from the factory… Should i try with another antenna?
