Update complete 3.0 to 3.4. No update actually done

I plugged in the usb waited 45 min for it to say “install complete please remove usb” I left it in like Im supposed to and it never progressed. Im still at sync 3.0 and have tried twice now. Ive used to different usbs with one being sandisk. This APIM is aftermarket OEN 2016 that I put into a 2014 ford edge
