The Forscan route will always tell the truth since it reads what the APIM really is… The sticker, well, the sticker can be faked or manipulated… but we can tell as well if the sticker is genuine or not…
So whatever works for you, just post it when it you can. Unmounting the unit is free, but you will need to remove some pieces…
Sadly, APIM model JR3T-14G371-CJG is MY20, so you killed / bricked it by reformatting it. For future reference, keep in mind that you could have checked for that either manually in Syn3Updater, via our SYNC 3 APIM Hardware Database - CyanLabs or automatically via Syn3Updater while creating the USB pendrive.
I would not know, but if you are NA based you may consider contacting Naviupgrade.. he offers a recovery service for such APIMs, which as far as I know is the first method from the GitHub page I sent before…
