Updated 2012 Focus ST from sync 1 to Sync 3

I’ve update my 2012 Focus ST to sync 3. The replacement apim is from a 2017 Focus Titanium. My question is, from what car should I find an as built .ab file to load into my Focus ST to start?
And do I need 7d0-08-01 and 7d0-08-02 blocks for the reversing camera to work.

@NaviUpgrade probably knows this…

Since you are having a camera issue, what did your adapter harness look like?
Do you already have an OEM camera prior to your upgrade or did you install and aftermarket camera?

This is the harness I have installed.

Everything was connected except for the GPS connector as sync 3 uses it’s own gps plug. The other thing I have noticed via Forscan is that my apim is a few firmwares old. So I’m going to update the firmware and see if anything changes. And yes the car has an oem camera

Do you have anything plugged into the yellow jack?

If not, that may be the problem. Some harnesses the only wires going to the video input of the APIM are the wires from the yellow jack. As a result your OEM camera feed from your cars harness, if it does not plug into the yellow jack, may not be fed to the APIM video input pins. If that is the case, you might need to check to see if those video input pins have two wires fed into each pin. One from the yellow plug and one from your harness.

Thanks, I will look into that, but might be while as I’m away from home for a while
