Upgrade 3.3 to 3.4 -> INTSL_ERR11

Hi.

Tried to upgrade as follows:

Config:

Current Sync3 version: 3.3.19205

APIM:EU / Maps:Yes / Inst mode: auto

New version:

Region:EU

Version: I have selected 3 different 3.4.99999 versions

Maps: Keep

I have tried with 2 different usb and get always INSTL_ERR11.

DO you think selecting Inst mode: reformat will solve the problem?

If yes do I have do take into account other parameters?
Can I also select the last 3.4.99999 version or do I need to jump to an earlier 3.4 version first?

PS: car is MY2018

Please check your current version…or is that a typo.

I believe you might be on either Sync 3.0.19205 or Sync 3.3.19052. Since you are getting INSTL_ERR11 – Error is APPS_UPDATE_PART_ERROR, it looks like you are trying to upgrade from Sync 3.0 to Sync 3.4, since this would trigger the partition error.

Correct your Sync version and run the Syn3 Updater again.

Yes, sorry for the delay…you will need new maps, the old ones are not compatible.

Do you have working maps? if so it’s fine, if not you likely didn’t install maps, you can’t keep the pre 3.2 maps for 3.2+ so if you were on 3.0 before and didn’t install maps you won’t have any.
