USB Hub help

So i have a 2016 ford fusion se with what originally was the sync 2 sound system. i have upgraded the radio to a sync 3 radio from a 2018 ford fusion s and reprogrammed using forscan. here recently i got a sync 3 usb hub Part Number “GC3T-14F014-BB”. so i took the old usb hub out and noticed that it has the same plugs as my new usb hub. so i plugged it in and it just says that usb hubs are not supported. please remove. i dont know what is wrong.
