Hello, I want to start by saying thank you for all this information! I was able to purchase a new screen and get everything installed and updated in under 30 minutes. Everything seems to be working great aside from the compass. Compass is stuck on north. Is there a fix for this?
Other than that after the holding the power/skip button everything fired right up. Ford pass remote start etc works perfect.
2020 Ford Transit 350 had 4” sync 3 from factory. Upgraded to 8”.

I checked the model on my APIN manually and was not the 2020. Model LK4T-14G371-MLL

Did you do a master reset after the upload to the car?

If you have already master reset go back to 3.4.21265, master reset and see how it goes.

Just to be be on the safe side, do not reformat the unit.

I tried the master reset. It did not correct the compass. After reset i have now lost ford pass. When trying to reconnect to the app I’m not getting the prompt on screen to accept

Go back to 3.4.21265 then, it’s a known issue.

I will give that a try later on today after work. Will that also assist with the ford pass? Or will i have to go through the forscan?

It won’t, once you master reset the link with your app is lost. You will have to start from scratch… Like when you had nothing ok your phone…

I deleted the truck off the account. Deleted and reinstalled the app. Restarted truck. I’m not getting the accept screen in the truck. Pics attached of app

Hmm, that’s odd

Unless you want to stay at your current build with the stuck compass, there’s really no point in troubleshooting the Fordpass issue while being on your current build.

I just want to confirm. In order to go back do i simply go back through the updater with current build and then select the previous version 3.4.21265? Leave the install mode on auto-detect? Want to make sure i avoid the reformat.

If your unit is MY20, keep MY20 protection enabled, that prevents creating reformat USB.

And yes, it’s as simple as that: set your current build to your current build in the configuration and then select 3.4.21265 as the target.

Ok 3.4.21265 successful and master reset completed. Compass is functioning properly. However Ford Pass is still out. Deleted vehicle from app, restarted, and tried again. Not getting the accept prompt screen on the truck. When i go into the ford pass settings in the truck i cannot load the connectivity settings. It gets stuck on “please wait”

***Update i went out to try to see if ford pass would work after a sitting for a while. Now i have a black screen. Restarted numerous times, and held the power/forward buttons. I get the ford logo then it goes black. Back up camera works. Blue tooth phone plays through speakers but not bt music

****2nd update - came back out and now it loaded but i have 4” screen format in corner of screen. Interesting.
