X40 ACM AB2 in a non AB2 sync 3 system

So I am finally getting ready to do a X40 ACM upgrade with my Sync3 retrofit. I installed a preMY20 APIM awhile ago (I’m not with the truck right now so I can’t verify what version it is but I do know it was a build date of 2019) and I want to get the higher SirusXM sat radio channels as well as the album art when listening to sat radio. I can’t find a K series ACM that has HD radio but I did find a few LT4T-18D818-CC, LL1T-18D818-CC, and a LS7T-19C107-CC APIM’s that I beleive will work with sync 3 retrofit APIM.

and used the listed APIMs as for my search.
I understand that I will still need to add the 2-4 wires but the question I have is all these ACM that I have found have the A2B (blue connector) on the back. My system is factory Sony system. Can I use ForScan to “not use” the blue connector and will it still work?

While that option is there to turn it off, I have never gotten it to work.

so basically I should keep looking for an ACM without the A2b connector specifically a K series?

I dont think there is a K series ACM that has x40 without A2B. The Ranger and Maverick in 22 I belive got X40 without A2B. If my memory serves me correctly.
