I am on the exact same version and with same symptoms installing the maps from Ford that this guy Another MEM_ERR01 issue
Some software version in the past was installed used cyanlabs but the latest was from official sources.
I am now on the track to install the files one by one and seems it’s working. My question is if it’s possible to clean old files. From the interrogator I have seen that there are some that look old to me:

KU5T-14G371-GJA is not MY20 as per our hardware database.
This is not true, your current Sync3 version is 3.4.22200, so any usb created by syn3updater will fail.
I think you are confused. Syn3updater is just a facilitator, all packages are Ford’s downloaded from Ford’s servers. So I do not know what do you mean by “official sources”. If you were at some point on 3.0 there’s no way for Ford to push 3.4 your way, so clarify.
Your unit is not MY20, you can reformat the unit (at your own risk).
Sorry for my mistakes. I thought it was MY20 (Ford Mondeo Sportbreak Hybrid from October 2019) I searched some years ago and someway I read that despite was a late 2019 model was MY20.
about sync version a bad copy & paste, both old and new are the same, syn3updater found a mismatch and a popup suggesting a correction appeared.
I meant I updated F10 from cyanlabs and some sw versions without maps but then returned to ford website downloads.
When I saw the files with a J at the end I thought they maybe old versions.
Now going file by file I have ended in a loop. The update says that next reboot will finish the first part of the update but powering off ,close/open door, power on the car doesn’t shutdown the screen completely. It remains black but with background illumination. I have done a soft reset and then begins the update again. Now is late night here and the last time i did the reset I used interrogator to see that was happening and I can see the new versions installed but stills says maps is F11.

I can’t see the packages that are not relative to the specific versions autoinstall.lst (269 Bytes)

If you want to install the latest maps, you can both autoinstall or reformat the unit…
Based on our db you can reformat the APIM as long as it’s stock and the unit has not been serviced, since it’s not MY20 hardware. Reformat for EU is about 45-60 minutes, autoinstalling maps is a long process (2 hours, at least)… that’s why a reformat is recommended if it’s an option…
