2015 sync 2 to sync 3 upgrade issues

i upgraded the apim to a sync 3 from a 2017. i have a 2015 lariat with the sony system. while it does function some things do not to incude EQ, no volume indicator, sub doesnt seem to be active and the zoom function for the backup camera doesnt work. any help would be appreciated. i will try to attach a pic of the APIM AB

Where did you get the asbuilt? Did it come with the APIM?

Also, your truck is a Lariat, does it have automatic AC or manual? You have the Sony system, any heated or cooled seats?

it came with the APIM. that was a screen shot while i was connected. i do have auto AC with heated and cooled seats

OK, based on a 2017 Lariat with the like options and what you described, this should be really close.

So, what you’ll do is to open FORScan to the APIM asbuilt page in you pic. At the bottom there is a button called “Load ALL”. Select that and select the attached file. Say OK.
FORScan should indicate it loaded the data. Then select “Write ALL”
The unit will reboot and come back up. See how it runs…

Sync 3.4 camera zoom not working

Hi all. I have searched for this but found no answer. Last week I did the 3.3 to newest release 3.4 update, and so far everything seems to work fine. Except for the backup camera zoom. I don’t use that option a lot but when I do need it, it’s nice to have it. Any reason the zoom feature would stop working? The + sign shows up on the screen as is normally did and makes a beep when you touch it. But nothing happens. Thanks in advance!!

Did you try the update to 20282 first? Or in this case downgrade…then see if the zoom works. If it does, then upgrade back to 23188.
