2018 mondeo radio issue

The radio unit of my is resetting sound, colour and radio stations but retains the station presets. The radio seems to stay on also once car is locked up.
i have 3.4 22251 installed with maps.
i cannot do a master reset as the box greys out when i press it. i try and install a newer software but the car refuses the process it and a message comes up to download again and if it continues a phone number to call, but no fault code.
ive tried two different usb sticks and i think a radio issue not a downlaod issue.

could anyone give an easy way of explaining this for me?
i have heard of rw data cleaner but cant find out where i get this from to download and how to use.

no error messages apart from to download again and then call a phone number if that doesnt work. updated using cyanlabs aprox 2 years ago

You need to get out of that build since it has a bug.
All known methods are documented here → APIM Sync Settings Not Saving, VER_ERR08 Errors, Cannot Perform Master Reset or Upgrades/Updates (Solved)

If none of those work, even the legacy ones, we do not have anything else to recommend at the moment.

thanks for the input.
|ve used the interrogator tool but it wont allow it. The car recognises the stick and starts download but i get the err12 which i believe is storage full.
How can i free up space to allow anything? it wont even allow the interrogator to process which is a small file
