Hello again! So I am in a conundrum; with my 2020 North America Edge ST.
First step, attempted auto install of all files. It failed, I forgot what the error was.
I was able to get Sync 3.4.21020 to install via the tool, and used autoinstall method.
Then I used autoinstall to attempt ONLY Nav 2.20 via the tool. Got an error, of course I forgot but long story short NAV update was more then 10 files so autoinstall failed.
So I manually broke up the way auto install was listed out in the file and it seemed to take BUT… settings screen still showed 1.19.
Every variance I am have attempted at installing has resulted in a MEM_ERR01 error.
Now I have tried everything from removing gracenotes , installed the small voice package. Still stuck. So here is the log file. What to do? I am wondering if I should go back to 20282 and install the 2.20 there, then update up 21020… Thoughts
Do we know what these files are? I wonder if these are the golden ticket to make this work and get Cyan labs the info they need to make the automated tool run better.
Just saw the Russian site as well. Wasn’t very descriptive, yours was better. That SOB took a while to run. Guess Im gonna try this again grab a couple of beers and hang out in the car for a bit and watch some DVR. In a few moments ill post what i plan the LDT file to be.
I Google translated all that and put it in a document for safe keeping. Helps to have a Russian friend or two also. I am very curious if this works with the supplied license file. As far as I know, the NA map installs need a license for ESN, at least they did last year, on my wife’s 2019 Nautilus. If this changed, that would be great.
I say it works…but I’ll wait till it’s done and rebooted before I say it really does.
You probably already know this, but…
It will reboot 3 times, leave the USB in. Wait for the screen that says to key cycle (or similar) message for the 3rd reboot. (I think this is correct, I did this over a year ago.)
