There’s an old thread where F150Chief comments that you may need to get to build 2.2.17011 first due to an issue with the disc overlay Ford used early in Sync3.
Here’s a link to 2.2.17011, you’ll need to manually build the USB and its not too hard to do that.
Don’t be surprised if you have to replace the USB media hub if you go to 3.4.x
