Ford Mustang sync3 day-night display problem stuck in night mode

Hello everyone,
I still have a small problem to resolve: the GPS on my Sync3 Ford Mustang remains in night mode despite setting it to automatic. The same thing happens with Waze.
If I manually set it to day mode, the screen activates correctly in day mode.
The interior rearview mirror is also constantly in night mode…
Do I need to adjust it in the APIM?

Since this affect both Sync and the rear view mirror, likely not a Sync thing. There is a light or sunload sensor toward the front of the dash. Make sure nothing is covering it and that it didn’t get disconnected.

After testing them, the sensors seem to be working fine, as does the rearview mirror Finally, I tested them with a lamp and everything works, as does the automatic lighting, except for the car screen, which remains in night mode… Any ideas?

Do you have a tinted windshield? Have you made changes with Forscan?

The Rearview mirror does not use the same light sensor as the APIM. The mirror uses the sensor on the backside of the mirror to measure light.

The windshield is original, I recently replaced the sync2 with an original Ford sync3 but I think that the programming for the day-night mode is not good, I did not touch this programming because I do not know which one to change

So you have used Forscan? The signal for Day/Night is sent over the Canbus from either the HVAC or BCM modules depending on the models. Those are the AB that will effect this but it will effect all lighting and not just the APIM.

I also did not ask if your windshield was original I asked if it was tinted(Aftermarket)

Yes, I used Forscan to indicate the region (France) and the windshield is not tinted.

The APIM and the mirrors don’t change when I turn the lights on or off.
However, I have BdyCM in Forscan.

That is a BCM…and there are a lot of pages to it. It would be better to save the file and post the ABT file here.
Let’s look at the APIM first. Specifically, 7D0-06-01 x*xx. Is the value there 805E?
