Sync 3.4.20136 - Feedback & Issues

Non reformat modes in the current app are a bit confusing, Sync3Updater (coming soon) is a complete redesign of the way the program asks you questions, it will automatically know what mode to use etc no ETA’s though

update from EU 3.0 to EU 3.4 20136. Everything works perfectly( i dont use usb for music) but i have an issue with the time on the radio. Time is 1 hour back. Is there a solution?

Will upgrading void my warranty

It’s possible depending on the dealer servicing your vehicle and what actually happen requiring a visit to the dealer in the in first place. BUT, it would have to be proven that the “upgrade” cause a fault /damage.

Like mechanical warranty for engine trans will it void those

No it will void your audio warranty not engine.

The same thing happened to me, and I can’t solve it. you could

Fix it. Disable auto sync and now it’s ok

Thank you so much; I just tried the Manual Mode of the app in the weekend, and it worked! It downloaded just the APP files (not maps nor voice files), so both the downloading and the installation process was blazing fast.

Thanks again for the excellent work!

Strange and somewhat annoying issue now happening with android auto.

Upgrade to 20136, most things seem to be working fine. AA version is 5.5.602944.

Anytime I’m connected via Android Auto, leveraging audio apps, if I leave the phone plugged into USB while I shutoff and leave the vehicle, when I return and start the vehicle, the head unit gets locked in an infinite loop saying the phone is paired, contacts downloaded, etc. Here’s a video of it for a few seconds.

Only way to fix it is to unplug phone, and shut down vehicle allowing full power down, or reset the head unit via pwr/skip forward reset.

Honestly AA has been having all sorts of issue recently, not sure any of them are related to Sync 3.4

Firstly did you master reset your SYNC? if not try that.

I use AA daily and never have this issue but i wouldn’t leave my phone plugged in.

Hi, I have updated from 3.3 to the latest 3.4.20136 using reformat tool and doing a master reset after the installation, so it should be a clean one.
I have a problem when reproducing audio, there are some random skips of small portion of audio, it seems like it jumps over a second or two of the songs, no matter the audio source (radio/usb/bluetooth). Is this a common problem? Never had it with 3.3.
Thank you

one last question what version should i update to build 19200 or the latest i heard some problems with usb with the latest version also with the new program do i still need 2 usb thx much apreciated

You need one usb and you must decide the best version, the known issues are shown in the application

ok thank you for the help and the guide

When I originally did the update using the tool I did a master reset but haven’t done one since. And yeah, I know AA has been problematic, was curious if anyone else saw the issue. I don’t usually leave my phone plugged in either, only for example if I’m running into a store real fast or something.

When it works, it’s nice, but many has it been buggy.

AA is being buggy in general, it’s hard to tell, i haven’t had that specific issue but my AA goes mad a lot.

Still is the apple car play and android auto support or that’s not available after the upgrade

Android Auto and Apple CarPlay both still work no problems.

yes of course Android Auto and Apple Carplay are still features
