is it possible that in ford they can reset it?

Like i have already said, The APIM is faulty no “Reset” is going to fix it, I have one here that has the same issue it can not be fixed, likely reason is the eMMC is broken and not repairable without replacing the eMMC chip (reflow kit needed) or replacing the APIM (or atleast the daughter board)

You likely had issues with normal updates due to the same reason

It’s cleaner and faster to reformat. It won’t hurt the APIM.

Big bug found.
When calling “Trafficinformation” (displays traffic jam in the area) in navigation-menue.
Screen freezes. No reaction anymore. Vol up/down works, Radio/Mp3 still playing. Thats all.
After ignition off/on, all works normally.
Traffic Jam Warning Display during driving doesn’t work
Friends has same Problem… so no individual case…

Applied 3.4.21098 last night in an attempt to address an issue with lost Sirius Travel Link apps on my 2020 F150 and performed a master reset. Had tried the master reset previously to address the issue. Worked on start and then no.
Performed multiple restarts last night and drove to work this morning. Travel Link apps are working. Applied Apps only.

I can also confirm the issue with the “Live Traffic” interconnection. Also a Master reset will not fix that. Downgrade seems to be necessary.

I have recently performed the update. This and also the past updates have worked without problems. But now I have the following problem since a few days. First, the front USB port stopped working. A few days later now also the port in the center console. Both ports have power, but for some reason are not recognized by Sync. Neither USB stick nor cell phone are recognized. So now I can’t install a new update or use Android Auto either. Does anyone have any ideas?

PS: Master reset I did several times, also disconnected the battery for a short time, furthermore also removed and reinstalled the middle USB port.
PPS: USB Port Part Number: HU5T-14F014-AB … May be incopatible with Sync 3.4…?

If the hub was not compatible, issues should had appeared the moment you booted it. Besides, it’s just a build change, not version.

The fact issue spread from one port to the other makes me think this is unrelated hw issue.

You are the first one that I recall to report this kind of issues.

I believe that it is not a “live traffic” problem, but a problem with TMC traffic. With “Live Traffic” I have no problems at all with guided navigation. the problems come only with retrieval via TMC traffic.

Not sure if it was this version or 21020 before, but has anyone else noticed that the webex integration for android auto is gone? I was really hoping to use this as I now have to use webex a ton. Anyone have any insight on this?

I took a look on Fords website and Cisco’s, and couldn’t find any official announcement that it was removed.

If the app is specifically intended to run inside Android Auto and not the ‘Apps’ tab on Sync, then that is outside the scope of Ford/Sync and is something to do with Google or Cisco.

thanks, it used to show up on the apps launcher. Now it’s not even on the list of apps that I can add to the launcher.

Update to the offset/alignment button issue. It only occurs on the third preset window while in SiriusXM source at the start-up of the Truck. If I have the system on the first or second preset window, the buttons are in the correct alignment.

Updated Sync 3.0.20204 to 3.4.21098 (Focus 2017 with nav), took 20 to 30 minutes.
Navigation error until master reset.
Big UI differences, I will need some weeks to get used, but I’ve liked. Nice to have some backgrounds to choose.
Seems that voice control is more quiet (it doesn’t introduce itself when I press the button), but it is working.
Android Auto working fine.

You wont get it here my friend. But I am going to see if I can fix some UTC’s coming from my APIM after going to 3.4.21098. If you are familiar with UTC let me know. I can be your test dummy again. lol I have a feeling this is what is interfering with the sporadic SiriusXM issue I am still having.

It is confirmed on F150Forum that it does. I never had issues so I can’t test.

20020 and 20098 still have issues. ive done EVERYTHING!!! Frustrating. Seems to work completely when car is off for multiple hours. But if I turn car, off go into a convivence store and come back in i either get no XM, or just audio for XM (not travel link). The issue has gotten so bad that at times my HD wont work on FM when XM isnt working at times. Not a happy camper.
