The Interrogator XML will tell you what is installed. It is coded into the 8060 DID, just translate from Hex to ASCII.
You can change the BT Nameplate, look in the asbuilt database.
So what you are saying about the parking assist is that there is no indication on the Sync screen about the proximity of obstacles.
Do you see this with just the rear camera while reversing, not using the parking assist?
The asbuilt coding indicates there is no rear view camera.
Other C-Max vehicles I’ve looked at have a bit different APIM asbuilt than this.
It’s not really that often that the upgrade from Sync 3.0 to 3.4 would cause and issue like this, but it can happen. It is unlikely that is the issue.
So look at this screenshot of a video on park assist. The Sync screen has switched to the rear camera view during the manuveur. You say you are missing this video and the screen does not switch?
