Sync 3 Sirius to SiriusXM upgrade

Hi upgraded long time ago my 2014 Lincoln MKX to sync 3 and it all works fine but I would like to see about changing to get higher channels with SiriusXM as I have Sirius only currently. I read that some changes have to be made to wiring connection and a different ACM. Can anyone help with this I tried the searches and it just a Rabbit hole loop. I use to have a 2013 now have a 2014.

Do you have a error message, if so what is it?

I know at one point F150Chief made a write up on doing this and even listed the ACM’s needed along with the wire changes.

Try reading this. Should be lots of info you can use here.

Newer ACMs compatible with APIM JR3T-14G371-CHA - Ford / SYNC 3 Support - CyanLabs Official Community

All I see is posts about Sony or b and o stereos but I have the regular stereo with the thx audio system. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Must not be the right thread. I’ll try to find it later.

I have done it to my '18 F150. I got an ACM from an 20 EcoSport and APIM from a 20 Edge. You will have to pin out a couple of circuits, and then change the VIN in some modules to update it. There is a write up on this that I followed, it shouldnt be hard to find, this is a hot topic.
