Update package not found

We ran the update and got an error message about a corrupt file, so redid the drive. The truck was asking for a usb stick for the update, we inserted it and it immediately said update package not found and the screen turned red.

We have tried several times to create the drive, but each time it says the update package cannot be found.

From what I can see you are entering 3.4.23188 in as your current version (previous configuration) instead of 3.0.6 whatever.

3.4.23188 is your target version.

Suggest you start from scratch again entering 3.06 as the previous configuration.

The log you show and your description of the issue are in conflict. What is it you are trying to do?

This has nothing to do with the other post. That was for a different vehicle and is resolved. This is a ford f150

I think I know what I did, but I’m not sure how to resolve it.

When I set up the first USB, I think i accidentally set the ‘previous version’ not to the version I selected, but to the version I was trying to install. I also did not disable the nav toggle.

When I ran the installer in the truck, it seemed to go fine but then said there was a corrupt file. I reddid the installer without changing anything (I still had it up on the computer). I got the same error.

I realized that the package it was looking for was nav, and disabled the nav toggle, and redid the usb.

The truck has the loader on the screen and says it is looking for the usb stick. When I plug it in the screen turns red and says it cannot find the installer package. I waited for a long time, but it stays red, even with the truck turned off. I pulled the usb out, the screen flashes various colours and reverts back to the installer screen and looking for USB.

On the screen in the top right is says something about version 306. I am not certain what it says as I do not currently have access to the truck. I will ask to have a picture of the current screen. When I am able to access the truck I will plug the usb in and get a picture of the red screen.

I know I should start over, but I’m not sure how to, since it says that it can’t find the installer.

Also, I no longer have the version that is on the truck… and don’t know how to get it if I can at all.

Any help on how to move forward would be appreciated.

I fully realize this is a problem due to my own rushing and carelessness.

I’ll get the red screen as soon as I have access to the truck.
