I have tested my issue with a new cable and it is not the cable, If the phone is in lock mode that is when the screen goes blank/black. So this new version seems to have this issue as suppose to the previous version. With the previous version, you could plug your phone and Android auto would lunch with the screen still in lock mode.
I doubt Android Auto has even been changed between versions, ultimately itās a video feed in h264 with touch input.

Updated to 20282 from 20196 a few days ago and have had no issues with it.
The browse usb media is still working along with the dab radio logos.

Itās the last software version for Sync 3.0. Build 20204.

THB/TCC itās for software control (if your sync is properly adpted for this software version)
You have the 3.4, so you shouldnāt touch the software.

Good morning, since the cyanlabs version 3.4.20282 came out, I installed it on my ford focus and very well. Today I found on the official website a new updateā¦ it is possible to update it, I sent the autoinstall

That is 3.0.20204 which is older than 20282, and Sync 3.0 which is impossible to downgrade back to now youāve upgraded to 3.4.xxxxx

Hi, i have flashed yesterday evening Sync 3.4.20282 with no issue. Done a Master reset as adviced in the manual. No bug reported (USB track double skip when FF button is pressed no present - all is working with RADIO and covers - no jump from USB input to FM input - no scratch noise on music track when played with USB or Bluetooth) NAV works well with new updated maps āF9ā.
Remember to unplug any other USB connected to your car (i forgot mine USB in the armrest and when reformat of Sync was done, the system was going to search packages in the other pendrive inserted in the armrest where there was only music, giving me, so, the red screen error of āpackage not foundā)
I have update my āSyncā from v3.0.20204 with 50 minutes around of flashing (my Sync has NAV with 25GB of maps to be flashed)

Since updating a couple of weeks back everything seemed fine. However, I have a recurring issue which seems to happen at an odd time that I cannot connect to anything specific. It may just be a setting, but I cannot find anything relevant.
The problem is a verbal warning which states āTHIS APPS LANGUAGE DOES NOT MATCH THE ACTIVE LANGUAGE OF SYNC. VOICE COMMANDS MAY NOT WORK AS EXPECTEDā.
As a Mac user I had to use the manual method. Iām from the Republic of Ireland and I downloaded the newest map offering. Language set is English, and Iām fairly sure there is a region setting which is set at Ireland (Iām sure Iām not imagining thatā¦'er indoors has the car at the moment so cannot check).
I didnāt hear this warning on the old V3.0 that came with the car.
Iāve not changed any settings on my iPhone. (set to English/Ireland)
I did a Master reset.
As a side point, I did a master reset when on V3.0 to try to cure another issue, but I never heard this message after doing this.
Any ideas?
I keep my stereo on Spanish so when I do open an app, it does say that but in Spanish. I assume the app you are using uses US English, not Ireland English. This is not an issue, more like a warning .

going to give this build a try I just recently got a 2021 f350 6.7 with Nav its got sync 3.4 20196 having issues with skipping tracks with usb, preset issues. this sounds like it will fix most of the problems. i know its not the most current version. just hopping to get these issues fixed
Have you checked for updates on the Ford Owners website? Sync 3.4.20282 will fix the track skipping issues, maybe the preset issues, depending on what those are.
